Marion County Health & Human Services (MCHHS) is excited to open the doors of its newly renovated Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Salem, Oregon. For 30 years, this center has been a safe place for people in crisis, and the updated space is designed to make it even better for the community and the staff who work here.

- Six private screening rooms and three clinical spaces
- 31 offices for staff and leadership

Who We’re Looking For
With the new center, MCHHS is hiring for several roles:
- Mental Health Specialist / Crisis Clinician – Provide short-term support and interventions for individuals in crisis, assess risk, stabilize clients, and coordinate care.
- Peer Support Specialist – Use your lived experience to build trust, guide clients through recovery, and connect them with resources alongside clinical teams.
- Mental Health Associate – Assist staff by supporting clients’ daily needs, facilitating activities, observing progress, and helping implement treatment plans.
